The Department of Architecture at the University "G. d'Annunzio Chieti-Pescara", located in Pescara, was founded in 2012 through the merger of the previous departments within the former Faculty of Architecture, founded in the late 1960s. The Pescara School has a recognized historical and cultural identity among Italian schools of architecture as a place for sharing ideas and teaching methodologies that stem from the integration of diverse scientific cultures related to urban and regional planning, and the representation and conservation of historical heritage.
